Why it works
Operation Surf (link here) in California did a research study that confirms what we have also witnessed. Building community and providing challenge helps Veterans immensely. Dr Russel Crawford's research showed that participants experienced:
- A 36% decrease in PTSD symptoms
- A 47% decrease in depression
- A 68% increase in self-efficacy
